Musician – Painter Nguyễn Đình Phúc was largely known as an elite artist who concurrently played violoncello in Hanoi, early giving sophisticated paintings, working as a composer, criticizer and a poet. He was born on 20 August 1919 in Ha Tay and passed away on 28 May 2001 in Hanoi.

In 1978, Nguyễn Đình Phúc wrote the symphony C Major to the full symphony orchestra when he was studying major of composing in Prof. Đimitơri Tứpcốp at Sofia National Academy of Music (Bulgaria).

Symphony C Major was traditionally a sonata 3 chapters of which the topics was made of folk music. He created melodies on typical intervals (4, 5, 2…, 7…) with inversed tempo referring to traditional sonority.
