Quan họ of Bắc Ninh is a special folk song kind in the music treasure of Vietnam. After many fluctuations of history, Kinh Bắc people always preserve and develop it in life, for to this day, it still shines and deserves the top position in the art treasures of traditional music.

Through recognizing its role and to contribute to the preservation and promotion of national traditional musical values, Institut for Musicology published the book “300 Quan Họ folk songs of Bắc Ninh”   

This is the folk music book includes 300 songs that were collected, noted, arranged by Hồng Thao in a systematic manner and carefully annotated for more than 20 years with many different Quan họ folk songs.

In “300 Quan họ folk songs of Bắc Ninh”, we will know more about the good, the beautiful, charm, delicate of the distinguished singing in Vietnam Quan họ folk songs treasure. On the other hand, the book is also a valuable and appreciated document resource, helps to research and education of traditional folk music fund in the art institutes, academy of music and schools of culture and art in the country.
